Maria lived most of her life in Naperville Illinois, where she raised her four children.  Maria also had an interior design business for 22 years before retiring in October of 2022 then, moved to Naples, Florida full time. Maria’s only grandchild called her Mimi, and that is where paintings by Mimi came from.

 Maria has always had a love for art. She often said when she retired, she would start painting. Fast forward, during the pandemic in 2020 she decided to start painting with all the extra time she was now given.Now officially retired, she spends most days painting or photographing beaches, people and animals for future paintings.
