Featured Artist: Maria DeAngelo
We are pleased to announce our newest Featured Artist; Maria DeAngelo of Paintings by Mimi.
Maria lived most of her life in Naperville Illinois, where she raised her four children. Maria also had an interior design business for 22 years before retiring in October of 2022 then, moved to Naples, Florida full time. Maria’s only grandchild called her Mimi, and that is where paintings by Mimi came from.
Maria has always had a love for art. She often said when she retired, she would start painting. Fast forward, during the pandemic in 2020 she decided to start painting with all the extra time she was now given. Now officially retired, she spends most days painting or photographing beaches, people, and animals for future paintings.
While you are here, visit the Gallery Page for Maria DeAngelo to view more of her beautiful oil paintings.

Celebrating Our Non-Profit Status!
Art Guild of Naples conducted their first meeting as a registered non-profit organization on November 15th. We have come a long way in the past two years and have managed to triple our membership!
We started our meeting in the usual fashion - sharing some of our creations with the group! These artists are so talented! In addition to sharing our techniques, we spent time looking at the various social media platforms and learning how to leverage them for our art business.
If this sounds like the type of meeting you would enjoy, consider joining us before the holidays to be able to attend our holiday meeting on December 20th!
